Admission
Admission guidelines as mandated by the Directorate of Education are followed for classes VI to XII.
Admission in School starts from 1st April of every year for classes VI to IX & for class XI admission starts after declaration of Class X results by CBSE. Direct admission in Class X & XII is accepted only after permission from CBSE.

XI | The age of child should be 15+ but less than 17 years |
XII | The age of child should be 16+ but less than 18 years |

Humanities | A student must have been declared Pass at the Secondary School Examination by the CBSE or its equivalent board. |
- For giving Economics as a subject, a student must have secured at least 45% in aggregate.
- For giving Mathematics as a subject, a student must have secured at 50% in Standard Mathematics/ Basic Mathematics
- Note:-Relaxation of 5% marks in any one of the three subjects mention above for admission in particular stream is to be given in respect of candidates belonging to the categories ST/SC/Minorities/OBC (Non Creamy layer)/ Kashmiri Migrate & those students having I/II/III position in National Games.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION: –
- One passport size photograph of the child.
- For class VI to VIII: School leaving certificate of a recognized school OR Original Date of Birth Certificate issued by MCD
- For class IX: Countersigned School leaving certificate of a recognized school.
- Mark sheet of the previous class passed.
- Any of the following documents as residence proof of Delhi:-
(a)Ration Card issued to parents having the name of the child.
(b) Voter Identity card of any of the parents.
(c) Electricity bill/ MTNL telephone bill/water bill.
(d) Bank Passbook in the name of the child or any of the parents.
(e) Aadhaar Card of child/any of the parents.
(f) Passport in the name of the child or any of the parents.
(g) Driving license of parents.
- Certificate of Caste (in case of SC/ST/ OBC) (if applicable).
- Certificate of disability (in case of Divyang Student).
Transfer of Students during Academic Year 2024-25
Students admitted during the current Academic Session (2024-25) will not be considered for transfer by Heads of Schools. HoSs will manually forward all such applications for transfer to the Zonal Grievance Redressal Committee. Not more than 10% of the total admissions will be altered by the Grievance Committee. Priority will be given to the following categories:
- The students falling in the specially abled categories (Divyangjan) with certification by Govt. Hospital.
- A student/ parent suffering from chronic illness (supported by documents of Govt. hospital)
- Sibling criterion.
- Change of residence after admission.
